It’s time to introduce you to something called PGC: Passion, Genius, and Commitment. I want to get you REALLY familiar with the concept of your own personal genius.
It’s amazing how little faith people have in themselves. When we are critical of ourselves and doubt what we’re capable of, we really can be our own worst enemy. I have seen so many of my clients who have had an issue with the fact that they might even possess a personal genius; that they might even possess some individualized skill that they could translate into phenomenal online revenue.
It’s absolutely essential that as you define your revenue machine as an online marketer, you take a good look at yourself and simply get clear on where your genius is and where your strengths are.
You might be a good communicator, or perhaps you’re good with technology. You may excel in interpersonal relations, or you may be a good strategist, or a good teacher. Whatever it might be, it’s really critical that you identify and honor those strengths and that you take full advantage of them through whatever business model you choose to pursue.
And this isn’t just motivational talk. Every one of us has unique qualities that can be tapped into. You have to discover what yours are and then emphasize them in selecting your product area and designing how you will run your business. If you’re more technically oriented, develop your product and business model there. If you’re an excellent people person, use those skills to build your product positioning, brand, network, etc. You can get help in the other areas that are not your strong suit. But do make the most of your own special skills.
And if you’re not sure what your strengths are, ask the people who know you. Ask them what they see as your best features. You may be surprised to discover that they see things in you that you never would have suspected.
Now, let’s tie this into the topic of “traffic.” What’s going to attract traffic and get them to pay for what you’re offering? The answer is “your passion” has to be in ALL of your messaging. Find something you’re passionate about, and instill it with your personal genius, and you will be able to create an irresistible product, service, brand, etc.
